Washer w/outside diameter =3 x thread diameter DIN 9021
The fender washer is a washer with larger outer dimensions, 3 times the hole diameter. The advantage of the larger outer dimension is efficient load distribution and better protection of the surface.
The hardness of DIN 9021 is min. HV100.
