Hex nuts with flange and serrations
The serrated flange nut according to DIN 6923 has serrations on the underside of the flange, providing an effective locking function. When the nut is tightened against the surface, the serrations grip the material and prevent the nut from rotating or loosening—especially in environments with vibration or movement. The flange also helps distribute the load over a larger surface area, reducing the risk of material damage. Flange nuts are also available without serrations.
