Tensile tests for fasteners

A tensile test determines a product’s min. ultimate tensile strength and proof stress.The two figures that are specified for a particular property class refer to the value of these parameters.

We perform tensile tests in a 600 kN tensile testing machine.

The tests are performed according to those standards that are currently relevant on the market, e.g. EN-ISO, ASTM, BS, Svensk Standard, BSK, etc.Tests can also be performed according to specific customer requirements.

The strength of bolts and nuts made of carbon steel is tested according to
EN-ISO 898-1 and 2. For bolts made of stainless steel, tensile tests are performed
according to EN-ISO 3506.

We can also perform tensile tests on products from other suppliers.
